Also we were kept in the loop as the week progressed by the foreman. We were delighted that the crew cleaned up each day before they left. The foreman welcomed any questions that we had about the project.

Thirdly, we particularly want to say how impressed we were individually with the foreman on the project. He was friendly yet polite and respectful towards us and the men he directed. He knew his job well and could overcome obstacles that were rather difficult and our basement presented a few.

I wanted to let you know how pleased we were with the work crew who waterproofed our basement this week. The foreman and the rest of the workmen were very professional and courteous at all times.

I was especially impressed with the way the foreman kept me informed as the job progressed. At all times he encouraged my questions and asked for my input. We wanted to let you know how pleased we’ve been with the basement waterproofing that was completed this week at our house.

Your crew was here bright and early every day, worked incredibly hard each day. They even went through the extra effort to ensure that our basement items were fully covered, and our floors were protected where they had to travel in and out of the house. Lastly, they even cleaned up nightly before leaving.

Each person we encountered was very nice and courteous, and had such great attitudes- which, after a long day of back-breaking work, was truly amazing!
Unfortunately for the crew, we received 12 inches of snow during the week – which they had to dig through before they could dig the outside trenches. When they left at the end of the day, they were still smiling! Even when the dog snuck downstairs to follow them around, they were very gracious about it.

Dear Ohio State Waterproofing,

I wanted to drop a quick note to share my recent experience with Ohio State Waterproofing.

My wife and I recently selected your company to waterproof our basement. From the beginning we had a great experience. The sales consultant worked around our busy schedule to come and go over the process with us in our home. He was very knowledgeable and did not give us the typical “sales pitch” you come to expect.
Once we decided to go with your company everything went really smooth. The scheduling center did a great job working with us to have the install done in a timely manner and when it worked for us.

When the actual work crew arrived to install the waterproofing system, everything was gone over with me before the work actually began. The crew themselves were a great group of guys. Given the type of labor intensive work they were performing, their spirits never wavered. Even on the last day when it was pouring down rain, they never missed a beat. During the install the foreman, would stop by and check their progress and see if I had any concerns. Before the crew left on the final day, the foreman and I did a final walk around and he explained everything once again. Also, as a bonus the crew even cleaned up everything before they left.

I would highly recommend Ohio State Waterproofing to any of my family and friends just based on the quality people you have working there.

Ohio State Waterproofing Customer Thank You Letter

Dear Ohio State Waterproofing,

Your foreman and his crew have taken a nasty, noisy and dirty job and made it more than bearable. First of all, the foreman sat down with me to make sure I understood our contract. Then he explained the steps they would take to complete the job.
All the surfaces the men were walking on were covered with plastic and taped down securely. All furniture and appliances in the basement were shielded from dust with plastic sheets as well.

The first day was quite busy, with some men working outside and some in the basement using a jackhammer. Never did I feel pressured or uncomfortable. There were at least 6 to 8 men working all day and aside from the jackhammer, there was no intrusive noise.

The foreman kept me apprised of all the progress they were making and showed me the various processes used to complete the system.
At the end of the first day, the floors were swept of tracked in mud and things were tidied as much as possible. Outside, displaced soil was neatly placed back into its bed.

This could have felt like a hostile invasion, but the foreman and his crew made it a benign, unobtrusive experience. Ohio State Waterproofing is fortunate to have men of such high caliber in its employ.

The foreman and crew that came to my residence were very efficient and did their job expeditiously. They always kept us advised as to what they were doing and gave concise explanations when we had questions. They always did their best they could to keep the dirt and dust under control. Several times they even asked us if we had any questions. Also if a problem occurred to us they solved it quickly and to our satisfaction.

It was a surprise to us the amount of work that they accomplished each day and how efficient they were. In addition, we were pleased that they were able to finish in just three days, rather than the four we had been told to expect.
