My wife and I are writing this letter to express our sincere appreciation for the masterful job your foreman and his crew performed in waterproofing our basement. During the course of the past three days, the time in which it took to complete the job, each member of the crew conducted himself in a manner that was professional, courteous and overall productive. Additionally, we were impressed by the foreman’s firm grip on product knowledge which ultimately enabled him to answer any and all questions we had pertaining to the job. Likewise, we were also impressed to witness the great care he and his crew provided in ensuring that our lawn and personal property (including our two dogs) were not compromised in any way.
Surprisingly, the foreman and his crew accomplished their work much quicker than we had anticipated. Also very diligent care was taken in cleaning up all dirt, dust, and debris in and around their work area. Given the fact that I am a home improvement contractor myself, I can truly appreciate workmanship that is both high quality and time efficient such as this.
My wife and I are thoroughly convinced that the work your company performed will finally give us peace of mind in no longer having to worry that our basement will leak every time it rains. Again, I would like to complement the foreman and his crew for performing a most professional and efficient job. Each crew member displayed to my wife and I that they are a real asset to Ohio State Waterproofing. Ohio State Waterproofing Customer Thank You Letter
Dear Ohio State Waterproofing,
I contracted you to do the waterproofing job at my residence on the week of May 24th-28th. The foreman on the job was fantastic. Although my wife and I were nervous about the destruction around the foundation of our home, he always made sure we were aware of and comfortable with each step of the nerve-wrecking process. He carefully and patiently explained the what, why and when for the entire project. Every morning he and his crew arrived on time and ready to work. The foreman would first knock on our door and ask if we had any questions or concerns, then he would tell us what they would be doing on that day. At least once a day he would again briefly meet with us to keep us abreast of their progress. He would review the upcoming plans, always asking if we had any questions or concerns.
In dealing with the foreman I found him to be both friendly and professional. I was impressed with his facility in handling my concerns and apprehensions. Whenever I did not understand what was being done or why, he patiently re-explained the process until I was comfortable with the process and confident in its success. He is also an excellent representative of Ohio State Waterproofing. His physical appearance is clean and professional, despite working just as hard alongside the rest of the crew. My neighbor even came over at one point seeking advice for problems in his basement, which had previously been waterproofed by another company. The foreman was not only helpful in giving him the advice he needed, but also quickly convinced him of the superior job being done by Ohio State Waterproofing!
It is clear in observing his interaction with the rest of the crew, that he has a solid command of the job. Also of his great leadership, management skills, and has earned the respect of those who work with him. The job proceeded on schedule throughout the week and finished on time. His crew worked very hard and was courteous, considerate and friendly. They were always on task and they seemed to enjoy working alongside him and each other. I can only imagine that the foreman set the tone for the entire crew.
Throughout this process, I have been very impressed with the professionalism of your company’s workers, especially those who have to deal directly with the customers. You have an outstanding foreman and based on my experience, I would consider him an excellent candidate for a promotion. He is intelligent, well-spoken, professional, courteous, and industrious.

The writing of this letter is in response to the level of quality and service that has accompanied this week’s effort in waterproofing our home.
The writing of such correspondence is not common for us, as we have never felt it necessary, for reasons neither good nor bad. However, after dealing with your foreman, and the rest of the team, I find myself wanting to express how appreciative we are for the high level of service provided.
Not only was the job completed sooner than anticipated the quality, efficiency and professionalism that accompanied the work was quite impressive.
For these reasons alone, we are thankful for choosing Ohio State Waterproofing. However, it was the caliber of people carrying out the work that truly made the difference. Everyone involved was polite, sincere, and attentive in their work. I was fortunate to be at home during the effort, performing brief inspections from time to time. Upon each pass, I was impressed by what I had seen. Minimal disruption to surrounding areas, clean work areas, precise craftsmanship, and attention to detail both in the work itself, as well as with returning work areas as closely as possible to prior conditions.
As impressed as we were, we also felt it necessary to give special thanks to the crew foreman. Exemplifying all of the aforementioned character traits and more, he proved to be everything that a leader should be. Time was taken to walk us through the work to be performed, explaining what would be entailed at each stage. Every question was handled with careful, detailed explanation. Periodic reviews were requested to show what had been done, and what was to come. However, what impressed us the most about the foreman was his ability to eliminate the anxiety commonly associated with a job of this degree. Instead he provided us with a level of comfort that the work was being done right. Aside from the quality of the work itself, this is what made the difference for us. The foreman proved himself a proud representative of your company. Such character is all too uncommon in today’s workplace.

Ohio State Waterproofing Customer Thank You Letter

Recently we had work done in our basement by a crew from your business Ohio State Waterproofing. We are so very pleased to tell you that your men were not only excellent at what they do, but were very pleasant and gentlemanly. It is a rare thing these days to have workmen come to your home who are as pleasant and kinds as these men were.
The foreman also took time to explain to us everything he would do on the job and answered any questions we had. Their work was excellent in that they covered everything in the basement to protect it from dirt and dust. They took special care of our landscaping as well. They were fast and competent workers. We were especially amused at one fellow who after using our garden hose rolled it up then turned on the water and hosed off the collection of dirt and grass which had adhered to it.
When the salesman came to explain what the job would entail, we were impressed with the knowledge he imparted in his presentation. As a salesman and gentleman he is top notch.
