The crew was very professional. The foreman ensured that the project would be successful, and completed in a timely manner. Rob provided daily updates about the project and advised me about any issues that may occur. He created an open line of communication so that if I had any questions, that I openly ask. He provided documentation about the equipment that was installed, and encouraged me to see the inner workings of the system during the installation process. I would like to mention something about the outside excavation. With the houses being so close I thought it would become a huge issue. Again, the crew did an exceptional job proving no displeasure to any of the surrounding neighbors. This is definitely a touch and dirty job for everyone, especially hauling heavy buckets of stones, dirt and cement by hand up and down the steps and all around the house. This heat made it even worse, but everyone kept working constantly.
All the employees were very pleasant, polite and professional. We never heard any swearing or foul language. This is amazing under the circumstances of the tough job they have to do.

Ohio State Waterproofing Customer Thank You Letter
Hi Guys and to all considering parties,
My wife and I were planning to use our basement as a recreation and TV Room. My wife had recently refinanced the house so we thought we were on our way. The house is 50 years old and we recently had to do some major storm drain repair as they were old and backing water into our basement. At that time we noticed the old wall paneling was buckled and bow tying at the bottom. We decided to rip out the paneling to see what the problem was. We noticed that the walls were cracking and the block mortar was decaying. Since this was never touched before, even by the previous owners, we knew we needed to do something before we invested in the cosmetics for the basement.
My wife was watching a booth at the Home & Garden Show and told me to come by so we could check out the various companies that were setup there as well. That’s where we found Ohio State Waterproofing. I must say they were quick to contact us and to plan an appointment to meet. The salesman was pleasant and took the time to evaluate the house correctly. More importantly he sat down with my wife and I and diagramed and explained the way he presented the situation to us because this was going to be major work and a decent investment.
Within the next few weeks the crew was out here setting up and showing us where they will be working. They were professional at all times and taking the time to answer questions and showed us what they completed. It seemed important to them that we understood where our draining system was and what it would do. They took the utmost care of the appliances and stuff in our house as to not disrupt anything.
They did a great job plain and simple. We are looking forward to working on the cosmetics of our basement.

The salesman was very knowledgeable and sympathetic to our situation. We came to terms and scheduled the work to begin in August, which was the next available slot. After a couple of paperwork signings the work began as scheduled. The crew was prompt with their start up times, as well as courteous and professional. The work was done quickly and without incident. I was repeatedly asked if I had any questions and if I did they were answered completely to my satisfaction. Never did I feel as if I was an intrusion on the day of work. I would like to express my sincere appreciation to the work that was done by Ohio State Waterproofing at my home. The crew was very prompt, as a matter of fact they arrived earlier than expected, which was better for me. They were also very polite and courteous. Mr. Hall was mindful enough to ask how I felt. I was especially impressed with how they took the time to cover my belongings with plastic, and cover any potential areas that they would be walking on. The crew worked very well together and was able to complete the job sooner than expected. They also did a good job cleaning up after themselves. It will make my future clean up that much easier.
The foreman took the time to answer any and all questions that I had throughout the job. I took before and after pictures of the process, and I liked the way that he pointed out specific areas that I would want to capture on film. When I told him of my pending plans for the replacement of the driveway, he reassured me that I could call and make arrangements with the company to come back and seal that side of the property prior to having the pavement done. It is good to know that would also be covered under the existing waterproofing warranty.
Once again, I was so impressed with the work that the crew had done. I would recommend them and Ohio State Waterproofing to my friends.
