We want to commend the entire work performance of the Ohio State Waterproofing Company’s employees that we dealt with. Our initial meeting with their sales representative was a good start. We felt right at ease with how he presented our situation by addressing and assessing our basement’s water and mold problem. Then he explained the process on how Ohio State Waterproofing would correct and safeguard the integrity of our basement. He also helped us on our financing so we could move forward on getting this done as well as offering an “on call” discount option which worked out perfect for us.
There was also support from their office that kept in contact with us via phone calls in the interim to let us know when our sales rep would be coming out for us to sign papers, inform us that an on-call opening was available, and to let me know when the crew was coming out to install the air filter. These two people were quick, efficient and also explained why the location where they installed it was the most logical. They also explained when we eventually finish the basement, how to encase the unit, which was very helpful.
Finally, the work crew was terrific. They explained the procedures of how they were going to cure our home’s watery basement. They showed me each step as it was being performed from the interior to the exterior. They were VERY informative, and polite. The crew foreman had a pleasant sense of humor which I enjoyed. He directed his crew with respect and you can see it was reciprocated. The crew that performed the labor was so courteous and hard working….they amazed me with the care taken in preparation throughout the entire process.
My husband and I watched our neighbor across the street that had his basement waterproofed by an independent contractor a month prior to ours. His entire front yard was engulfed with large machines, dirt and mud, leaving his yard ruined. His job took over a month and in the process, had his bicycle stolen. It was fate that was watching over us, for I initially did make a call into their salesperson, and that took two weeks for a response back. Luckily, my husband called Ohio State Waterproofing in the meantime, and I was able to tell that “independent” salesman we had committed to another company….Thank God! Our job has only taken three days to complete and our yard is still intact!
We are SO glad we went through OSW, our minds are at ease for we know we made the right choice for they are doing everything that they said they would with a guarantee to back them and no hidden surprises.
