After several years of talking about repairing my cracked foundation walls, damp, and now leaking, basement I started the process of investigating what the best method of repair would be. I had multiple “experts” come in and tell me what was wrong and how to fix it. Surprisingly, each of them had different opinions as to why these conditions were present, and what the best method of repair would be.
As a home owner I was looking for the most comprehensive method with the least overall disruption. The prospect of lots of dirt, mud, heavy machinery, loss of landscaping, sidewalks, etc. was daunting at best.

As the foreman’s crew began to layout what was required to do the job, he introduced himself and his crew members. He then detailed the process of repair that he would be following over the next several days. The foreman was very detailed and made sure that my wife and I understood what he was going to be doing. He also assured us that if we had any questions or concerns that he would do his utmost to resolve them to our complete satisfaction.
As the job progressed, the foreman continued to explain and review his progress daily. His commitment to ensure that we understood what was being done and why was much appreciated.
The entire crew methodically cleaned and restored our basement and exterior perimeter to as close as possible to the condition it was when they arrived. We were much impressed with Ohio State Waterproofing, and their commitment to “Doing the Job Right” and ensuring along the way that we were completely satisfied with the work that was being performed.
I am confident that foundation repairs and water management systems installed will eliminate our basement problems for good, and now will allow us to best utilize this space.
