Dear Ohio State Waterproofing,
I contracted you to do the waterproofing job at my residence on the week of May 24th-28th. The foreman on the job was fantastic. Although my wife and I were nervous about the destruction around the foundation of our home, he always made sure we were aware of and comfortable with each step of the nerve-wrecking process. He carefully and patiently explained the what, why and when for the entire project. Every morning he and his crew arrived on time and ready to work. The foreman would first knock on our door and ask if we had any questions or concerns, then he would tell us what they would be doing on that day. At least once a day he would again briefly meet with us to keep us abreast of their progress. He would review the upcoming plans, always asking if we had any questions or concerns.
In dealing with the foreman I found him to be both friendly and professional. I was impressed with his facility in handling my concerns and apprehensions. Whenever I did not understand what was being done or why, he patiently re-explained the process until I was comfortable with the process and confident in its success. He is also an excellent representative of Ohio State Waterproofing. His physical appearance is clean and professional, despite working just as hard alongside the rest of the crew. My neighbor even came over at one point seeking advice for problems in his basement, which had previously been waterproofed by another company. The foreman was not only helpful in giving him the advice he needed, but also quickly convinced him of the superior job being done by Ohio State Waterproofing!
It is clear in observing his interaction with the rest of the crew, that he has a solid command of the job. Also of his great leadership, management skills, and has earned the respect of those who work with him. The job proceeded on schedule throughout the week and finished on time. His crew worked very hard and was courteous, considerate and friendly. They were always on task and they seemed to enjoy working alongside him and each other. I can only imagine that the foreman set the tone for the entire crew.
Throughout this process, I have been very impressed with the professionalism of your company’s workers, especially those who have to deal directly with the customers. You have an outstanding foreman and based on my experience, I would consider him an excellent candidate for a promotion. He is intelligent, well-spoken, professional, courteous, and industrious.
